About Me.
I am a pragmatic and solution-oriented corporate lawyer with over two years of experience in general corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, healthcare & life sciences, technology & data privacy, artificial intelligence, and intellectual property. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively on contract drafting, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal advisory, assisting clients across various industries.
During my experience at Ronin Legal, I successfully drafted and negotiated a wide range of legal agreements, including service contracts, shareholder agreements, software licensing agreements, clinical trial contracts, and data protection policies. My role also involves advising clients on complex corporate matters such as venture capital investments, acquisitions, healthcare regulations, and AI compliance frameworks.
I have a deep understanding of India’s corporate laws, cross-border data protection laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, EU GDPR, and UK GDPR), intellectual property rights, and healthcare regulations. I've successfully negotiated several international data protection agreements, involving various stakeholders and regulations.
I currently oversee a team of associates, and head the recruitment of the firm. I have also assisted in implementing in-house administrative solutions, including streamlining the database for email marketing, identifying several events and conferences to look for clientele, and overseeing the refurbishment of the office space and the day-to-day activities of the office.
I hold a BA.LLB. from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and am a registered member of the Karnataka State Bar Council. Additionally, I have published legal research on intellectual property rights in pharmaceuticals in Jus Corpus, indexed in Manupatra, HeinOnline, and J-Gate.
Beyond my professional practice, I'm a Bharatnatyam dancer and a Hindustani classical singer, and hold degrees in both performing arts.
